The CEO of Electronic Arts Andrew Wilson has recently unveiled new information about Battlefield V stating the following: "With our next Battlefield game, the team at DICE is bringing the intensity of combat to life in new and unexpected ways". The latest Easter Egg, however, has led to the reveal date for Battlefield 2018.
For some time, Battlefield 1 easter egg hunters have attempted to open a mysterious "zombie door" found in the game's multiplayer mode.
The Easter Egg in question was the "Isolement" door located on Battlefield 1's Fort de Vaux map.
We don't know too many details about the next game yet, including when and where it takes place, but EA has previously stated that the game will be playable this summer at E3.
This easter egg hunt was conducted by the Battlefield subreddit and discord community who have managed to locate the source of the clues hidden in it, leading to them finding a webpage on the official EA website as shown in the image below. When the buttons are pressed in the correct order to spell out the word Isolment, the door will open and players will find a cell containing a painting of a white horse.
Inside the room is four abandoned bunks, a painting of a horse, a drain, unusual marks on the wall and two valves. However, these don't matter.
Water was dripping from the ceiling from pipes, which ended up spelling out something in Morse code.
All we can do now is wait until May 23rd to see what might or might not get revealed by EA.
