Since the Kulve Taroth is exceptionally very big, players will apparently have to rely on cannons, makeshift avalanches, and other forms of heavy artillery to damage the creature. And seems to be as large as Xeno'jiiva.
The Kulve Taroth Siege kicks off alongside the patch on April 18 and takes place in a new area called the Caverns of El Dorado.
Hunters, hope you've been enjoying the nice, relaxing celebration of the Spring Blossom Fest. The only question now is, how hard will the Kulve Taroth be? In a Siege, all sixteen hunters in a Gathering Hub will have to team up to take on a powerful enemy. Up to 16 players total will be split into four groups of four players, all tackling different tasks but working towards the same common goal of bringing down Taroth. All teams will work together to investigate and hunt down the same Kulve Taroth.
Ultimately, you'll need to repel Kulve Taroth and its shiny golden mantle of collected weapon relics the creature has picked up while travelling through the New World. We don't have much information on when and where Kulve Taroth has amassed all these relics, so the nature and quality of these weapons (read: type and stats) are entirely up to fate. Hit up the Smithy once you've gathered ample materials from the Elder Dragon, and he'll even knock you up a new armour set to complement the Kulve Taroth weapons.
In just a couple of days, April 18th to be exact, the players of Monster Hunter World will get another free update that includes some new goodies. (If you miss it, Capcom notes the event will return.) This also marks the debut appearance of the siege quest.
In staying true to their promise of ongoing support, Capcom has revealed yet another update for Monster Hunter World.
