Dark Souls: Remastered delayed to summer on Switch

Switch owners wanting to experience From Software's classic on a Nintendo console are going to have to wait a little longer...

Bandai Namco has revealed that Dark Souls: Remastered on Switch has been delayed until the summer, along with the special Solaire amiibo.

It may be that Polish developer QLOC, who are handling the remaster, have got a bit out of their depth though, as evidenced by them needing more time.

Everything else (PC, PS4, Xbox One) is still on target for May 25, it's just Switch that's been moved back. Sadly, Switch players will be left hanging to dry for a few more months.

Bandai Namco announced this news this morning.

The remastered port will include the Artorias of the Abyss DLC, as well as improved framerate and resolution from the original "Dark Souls" game.

PC/PS4/X1 versions will maintain their May 25th release date. It would seem that whatever issue has occurred, it only impacts the Switch edition. When we learn either of those details, you guys will be the first to know!
