The Boston Celtics will take on the Milwaukee Bucks in the first round for the right to face the Philadelphia 76ers or the Miami Heat in round two. The victor of this series would play the victor of the Philadelphia 76ers and Miami Heat in the next round.

Boston have been blighted by injuries this season, with superstar point guard Kyrie Irving this month joining Gordon Hayward on the sidelines for the remainder of the campaign due to a knee issue. And they match up well with the Celtics having split the season series.

Despite the injuries, Boston still reeled off 55 wins, good for second place in the Eastern Conference.

The first game begins at noon from Boston on TNT.

Milwaukee has found mediocrity to be the title of its season, ending up with a 44-38 record despite the excellence of MVP candidate Giannis Antetokounmpo. The Celtics will have to rely on their young team and the coaching prowess of former Butler coach Brad Stevens if they look to advance.

Additionally, why didn't the Celtics foul on the play?

The season series is tied up 2-2, with all four games decided by 11 points or less - and just 7.5 points on average.

Halfway through the first quarter of game one of the Boston Celtics' first-round matchup with the Milwaukee Bucks, Tatum knifed through the lane for a attractive transition dunk.
