Adding yet another feather to its cap, action thriller film Baaghi 2 has crossed the coveted Rs 150 crore-mark.
Of film's overseas box office reception, he wrote, "Baaghi 2 has fared very well overseas". The film's action quotient has been appreciated by everyone, which is one of the reasons for bringing in the audiences in cinema halls.
The makers of Baaghi 2 could not have hoped for a better reception.
The 2016 "Baaghi" was a remake of Telugu movie "Kshanam". Shraddha Kapoor played Tiger's love interest in the first film. Helmed by choreographer turned director, Ahmed Khan, the movie is a sequel to 2016's Baaghi and has surpassed the lifetime collection of the original film with a great margin.
Tiger Shroff plays Ronny, an Indian Army officer who takes a break to help his ex-girlfriend Neha (Disha Patani) when her daughter goes missing. The Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani-starrer is the second film of 2018 to achieve the feat after Sanjay Leela Bhansali's epic period drama Padmaavat.
Collecting a whopping 112.85 crores on its opening week, it is unstoppable at the box office. Worldwide gross box office: Rs 243.37 crore.
The film has been performing well at single-screen theatres. It also features Manoj Bajpayee, Randeep Hooda and Pratiek Babbar in pivotal roles.
