Golden State Warriors vs. San Antonio Spurs

Boasting two NBA championships, three Finals appearances, a two-time MVP, and four NBA All-Stars in the past three seasons, no team has come close to the success the Warriors have enjoyed since 2015.

Durant and business partner Rich Kleiman will go over the scenarios in great detail at the conclusion of the Warriors' postseason run. San Antonio won their last matchup in March, but the Warriors were without Durant and Curry.

Surprisingly, Watson is siding with the Spurs in this one and it seems to mostly have to do with the absence of Stephen Curry for the Warriors.

The San Antonio Spurs have the 4th best defensive rating with 102.4 in the league.

Leading the Warriors now is fellow superstar Kevin Durant. This 2017-18 Golden State team has been ravaged by injuries - at times, playing without all four of its All-Stars - as it dropped 10 of 17 games entering the playoffs.

During their last five games, the Warriors have scored an average of 106.6 points per game (6.9 below their season average) and allowed an average of 115.6 points per game (8.1 above their season average).

The Golden State Warriors, for all intent and purposes, have been head and shoulders the best team in the National Basketball Association for the better part of four years now. The Warriors themselves know how good they are. He made sharp passes, played tight defense and stripped multiple Spurs players in the paint. The Rockets will be without a valuable rotation player, Luc Mbah a Moute, who sustained a shoulder injury this week in a meaningless game.

He made sure of that, by inserting Iguodala, his best all-around defender, into the starting lineup and also using McGee extensively instead of Zaza Pachulia.

Young chipped in three points in eight minutes as the Warriors cruised to victory.

"At the end of the season, I think we were thinking too far down the line and worrying about the playoffs when we should have been worrying about today", Kevin Durant said in his postgame interview about the Warriors flipping the switch.

"We were not as ready to face a team like them", said Ginobili. All of this was necessary with Curry not expected back for the first round; he just received the green light to press the accelerator during rehab and begin lateral movements. "They were more aggressive than us".

"We played well. We played hard".

Said guard Klay Thompson: "Andre gives us so much on both ends, especially the defensive end, his ability to guard every position".

The Golden State Warriors were the better team overall in the season series, but that season series might not say all that much about the upcoming series.
