Despite how widely it was panned at release I adored Tom Clancy's The Division, and have continued dipping my toes into the game since its release almost two years ago. The latest update issued by Ubisoft Massive is now available on all platforms. Classified Gear was first introduced in The Division's 1.7 update, and it's essentially a higher-tier version of the game's best items.
Oh and one last thing, the game will now tell you how long you've played the game at the Agent Selection screen, try not to get a fright.
As for the new Global Events, there are two: Blackout and Onslaught.
This month, players can earn new commendations and experience the Blackout Global Event. The damage this ammo does is linked to a Charge meter which is filled up as you run and shoot enemies - the more that meter fills, the more damage you do.
Global Event Blackout [April] -Agents are equipped with Shock Ammo that stuns enemies. Meanwhile, Onslaught offers various damage statues, besides the regular one. Reload to change the effect.
In addition to its visual enhancements, update 1.8.1 tweaked Classified gear drop rates, exotic loot drops, and implemented some minor vendor changes. Now, Legendary Missions have a 20% chance of granting.
Daily Combat, Crafting, Survival and Dark Zone Quests now reward the player with 25 Div Tech each.
But there's more! There are more than 40 new Commendations, which you can unlock in the new Global Events. The Amherst and Grand Central missions have also received a new Legendary difficulty setting, for those who are looking for an even greater challenge. Finally, all Exotics were added to the Open World Bosses. They removed the Premium Vendor Exotics from the Open World loot pool, as well as the Exotic Caches.
Vendor Changes: Added a Classified Gear cache to the Special Vendor that guarantees one Classified Gear piece from the entire pool.
