As for the renders, images have emerged showing the design theme and specifications of the Moto G6 Play while highlighting the fact that the three smartphones will be available in Black, Gold, Rose Gold, Indigo, and Silver color options.
All three phones are expected to be affordable midrangers, with the G6 sporting a Snapdragon 450 chip, 3 GB of RAM, and a 3,000 mAh battery; the G6 Play would be even more affordable with a Snapdragon 430 processor and a larger 4,000 mAh cell; and the G6 Plus would be the most powerful of the three, with a Snapdragon 630 SoC instead. The Amazon listing also confirms dual rear camera setup for Moto G6 with features like "Portrait" shots and face filters. The fingerprint scanner could be embedded in the home button at front and while the device is expected to sport with a dual camera setup with a 12-megapixel primary along with a 5-megapixel secondary sensor, at the front, there could be a 12-megapixel sensor with LED flash. However, the side bezels aren't the thinnest in the industry. According to the listing page, the smartphone sports a 5.7-inch full HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The device will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 427 chipset, mated to 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Moto G6 is expected to sport a design similar to that of Moto X4. However, before the official announcement, the phone has been listed on Amazon in the USA and Canada, revealing the key specifications and price of the Moto G6 32GB model. We can expect these models to get enough popularity as the previous generation models. The range is particularly popular in India, where it competes in the highly-competitive sub-Rs 15,000 price segment against various brands such as Xiaomi, sister brand Lenovo, Samsung and various Indian brands such as Infinix, Tecno, Intex and others.
