Sgt. Chriswell Scott of the Marana Police Department tweeted a picture of Amber Young's arrest.

Police arrested a bride heading to her nuptials this morning for DUI.

She was handcuffed and put into the back of a police auto at 10.30am yesterday in Marana, Arizona, 30 miles north of Tuscon. Officers noticed Young seemed impaired.

The bride was pictured being put into the back of a police auto while in her wedding dress after being pulled over.

One person was taken to hospital with minor injuries as a result of the crash, police said.

It is not clear of Young arrived to her wedding on time after the accident.

He said: "This could've turned out way worse than it did".

She was wearing her wedding dress, hands cuffed behind her back.

"Don't drive impaired", Scott wrote online. Young has apparently not spoken so far with any media outlets in the aftermath of the incident - nor evidently has any legal counsel that she might have retained.
