Once you're happy with your message, you can send it to your friend or family member, who will receive it in the Duo app. Through this feature, Google Duo users can record messages, when an incoming call goes unanswered.
Google's video chats mobile app was announced at the company's developer conference in May 2016 and began its worldwide release in August of the same year. The message is sent to a contact through the Duo app, which can be played after tapping on the user icon.
Furthermore, a "Knock Knock" feature lets users see a live preview of the caller before answering.
After they have watched their video message, users can tap the "Call now" button to easily call that person back. Users can save their favourite video messages to the phone memory, as these will disappear within a day of being viewed. As in case of all calls made on Duo, video messages are secure and end-to-end encrypted.
India assumes a lot of importance for Google, which is why it will bring the Google Assistant, which is part of Allo, in Hindi and other regional languages.
Some of the noticeable features of Google Duo are it allows you to leave a voice only message if you can't make video calls. You can disable the feature any time you want.
