Judging from the update, it looks as though WhatsApp users might soon be getting support for Live Location & stickers on Microsoft's Windows Phone platform.

Another feature that WhatsApp beta on Windows Phone will receive is the ability to send Stickers in individual and group chats.

WhatsApp has been consistently rolling out new features and changes to its platform lately.

WhatsApp has started testing the Group Description feature in WhatsApp groups. Well, the company has been testing some new features that it intends to roll out in WhatsApp groups, and, the latest one it's testing is Group Description.

Firstly, there is this Live Location sharing feature that will be available for beta users on Windows Phone. The feature isn't available for iOS, and we noticed that if an Android using member of the group adds description, the notification is received only by other Android or Windows users, and iOS users can not see it. The feature is now hidden and should be enabled remotely in the coming days and weeks. This enables users to share their location in real-time with other people. Additionally, there is new notification icon for Stickers in WhatsApp. This feature has been available on iOS and Android since months now.

The features can be accessed on the Windows Phone by downloading the beta version of WhatsApp from the store. If any of our friends or family members send you a sticker in WhatsApp you will be able to see a heart shaped icon in the notifications resembling that a sticker has been sent to you in the chat. The stable version with the new features will be rolling out soon. Users interested please do note that beta versions generally tend to have bugs. We are also awaiting the arrival of the new stickers feature on other platforms.
