Halsey won't be playing Firefly this summer, but will be performing at several fests throughout the year: Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival in March, Hangout Fest and BottleRock in May, and Governor's Ball, of the ones announced so far. The seventh edition of the festival is to take place in The Woodlands of DE from June 14th-17th.

Eminem and Kendrick Lamar will top the bill for two of the event's four day run July 14th through 17th.

Alex released a second album with supergroup The Last Shadow Puppets in 2016 while Matt Helders played the drums on Iggy Pop's album "Post Pop Depression".

The band have been teasing their return for some time, after being spotted heading into a rehearsal space in their home city of Sheffield. He just performed at the College Football National Championship Game's halftime show Monday and is nominated for seven Grammys this year. Other acts on the list include: Lil Wayne, Foster The People, MGMT, Mike D (DJ set), Warren G, Lil Xan and many others.

And once again the list of almost 100 artists performing also includes one local act.

Tickets go on sale this Friday January 12th at 10:00am. Firefly for the seventh straight year partnered with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital to benefit its Music Gives to St. Jude Kids program.
