Unfortunately, there isn't a whole lot of information about Dark Souls: Remastered out there just yet. Amazon is taking pre-orders for Dark Souls Remastered on Sony PS4 and Microsoft Xbox One for $39.99 each. Nintendo revealed that Dark Souls: Remastered is on the way for the Switch, bringing the immensely popular series to Nintendo hardware for the first time.

Check out the Nintendo Direct Mini in its entirety in the video below. Dark Souls Remastered includes the main game plus the Artorias of the Abyss DLC.

Dark Souls Remastered is heading to the Switch later this year, the latest Nintendo Direct broadcast has announced. The second game's producer Takeshi Miyazoe later admitted the PC version was rushed in a bid to serve players as quickly as possible, something underscored by a self-confessed "lack of experience of working on a PC platform". The most recent entry in the Dark Souls franchise, Dark Souls 3, came to consoles and PC in early 2016.

If the leaked listing is confirmed to be true, we might know more about it, including any potentially more platforms for this remaster, officially from Bandai Namco or From Software.

Dark Souls Remastered on Switch will run at 30FPS in docked or portable mode.

Not only that but the multiplayer will support 6 players at once, making it easier than ever to team up and beat up a boss.
