He is juggling the shoots of Big Boss along with the shooting schedules for Race 3. However, before they could make their way towards him, the police sensed the danger and alerted the star, following which the actor's shooting was cancelled, and he was escorted home by the cops.
Asserting about the current situation, Ramesh Taurani, the producer of Race 3, stated that additional bouncers, guards and personnel have been appointed to safeguard the sets of the film and the actor at all times. "Salman was escorted in another auto by six cops, while his own vehicle was driven back to his residence by another group of cops", a source from the set was quoted by Mumbai Mirror.
On January 5, gangster Lawrence Bishnoi of Rajasthan threatened the Dabangg actor.
According to a DNA report, the threat came a day after Salman had visited Jodhpur and Bishnoi too was produced before the same court amidst heavy security.
The gangster claimed that he had been framed in false cases and that to date, not even a single witness had deposed in the court to prove the charges. "Now, if police want me to commit some major crime, I shall kill Salman Khan". On Monday, a senior officer informed the Superstar that three men in Mumbai wanted to kill him when at the same time a group of vandals was creating ruckus near the location where Salman was shooting.
Salman Khan has received threats from 3 people other than Bishnoi.
Lawrence Bishnoi hails from the Bishnoi community that worships black bucks. Salman had appeared in Jodhpur court last week in connection to the killing of black bucks in 1998. Salman Khan was threatened by Bishnoi.
Taurani has also confirmed that the security on the sets of "Race 3" has been increased. Security around Salman has been increased and there are certainly more armed professionals on the set of the film in order to keep everybody safe.
