It's official, Assassin's Creed Rogue Remastered is heading to the Xbox One and PS4 with 4K support and all the original DLC!

Rogue remains a bit of an oddity in the series - it was released at the same time as the unloved Assassin's Creed Unity on PS4 and Xbox One, but for the only just last-gen consoles PS3 and Xbox 360.

This re-launch will be called Assassin's Creed Rogue Remastered and will present textures and shades of higher resolution, new visual effects, and better environmental rendering.

Ubisoft says it'll "offer an even more lovely and immersive gaming experience that invites fans of the series and new players alike to discover, or rediscover, Shay's adventures in 18th century North America".

Remastered will be release on March 20. Moreover, Ubisoft is bringing over Bayek's outfit from Assassin's Creed Origins to the remaster as an extra perk.

The bad news is that, for now, Ubisoft has not confirmed what the price of this release would be.

Assassin's Creed Rogue is kind of the forgotten child in the Assassin's Creed family. Unlike previous Assassin's Creed games, Rogue looks at the world from the other side, with Shay starting as an Assassin that ultimately falls to the Templar side of the war. In this title, we control Shay Patrick Cormac, a Templar who wants to end the brotherhood of the assassins. There are also icebergs players must either avoid or ram into with an icebreaker, as well as new naval weapons and enemies who can board your ship. Because players are sailing in the cold North Atlantic, falling in the water will quickly deplete Shay's life. For those that never played it, are you excited to finally get your hands on it?
