The team will release their first offical injury report of the week this afternoon.
New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady missed his second consecutive practice Thursday, the first time this season he's been absent on back-to-back days. In the weeks leading up to the November 26 game against Miami, and the December 3 game against Buffalo, Brady was held out of Wednesday practices with what the team reported was an Achilles injury. They did issue one on Thursday and Brady remained in the did not participate category. But it didn't look like right tackle Marcus Cannon (ankle) or linebacker Kyle Van Noy (calf) were present, which wouldn't be a surprise. All three were limited in Thursday's practice. The Patriots have won all four games without Hogan, but with Rob Gronkowski suspended for Monday night's game, the receiver figures to be much-needed for Brady's offense.
Despite Brady being held out of practice, it'll likely be business as usual for the five-time Super Bowl champion come Monday.
In Week 12, the Patriots made easy work of the Dolphins in a 35-17 win at Foxborough.
