Soulcalibur VI Announced And Its Coming In 2018

With Soul Calibur VI freshly announced at The Game Awards 2017, fans are preparing to once more let their souls ignite in combat and let their weapons speak for them.

In the announcement trailer we see Sophitia fighting someone who resembles a younger Mitsurugi.

Today, during The Game Awards, after a somewhat freakish introduction by writer/director Josef Fares (gotta love it), a new trailer premiered for A Way Out, and a release date also followed - we'll be able to break out starting on March 23, 2018.

Soul Calibur IV will be releasing for PS4, Xbox, and Steam.

Soulcalibur 6 is finally happening.

Bandai Namco should be releasing more information on Soul Calibur 6 in the near future. Not that we're complaining.

Nonetheless, hopefully SoulCalibur 6 isn't hamstrung by season passes, an online only component, and barebones single-player content that we've seen in other fighting games this generation like Street Fighter and Marvel vs. Capcom.
