Google introduces a new feature for its Search engine.

Google launched an exciting new feature for Search on Thursday. For now, pick up your phone to search for one of the people mentioned above-you just might find a surprise video answer waiting for you.

As of now this new search feature is available only in the US. For instance if you are a Priyanka Chopra fan, and want to know something about her - you may simply type the question on Google and Priyanka will answer your question with a self shot selfie video.

This feature seems to have taken inspiration from Wired's ongoing series on YouTube where celebrities answer the most Googled questions about them. These videos will remain self-recorded to maintain the originality of the concept. It has videos from movie stars like Will Ferrell, James Franco, Mark Wahlberg, and Priyanka Chopra, TV stars like Tracee Ellis Ross, Gina Rodrigues, Kenan Thompson, Allison Williams, and Seth MacFarlane, and others like Nick Jonas, Jonathan Yeo, and Dominique Ansel.

This is something that's launching first on mobile, and when asking something such as "Can Will Ferrell really play the drums?", you'll see a video that you can play in which Will Ferrell answers that question directly through a selfie video.

Currently, only a handful of celebrities have accessible selfie videos on Google Search, but as Google says, many more are coming.
