Although the game was a bit controversial before launch because of the decision to include loot boxes, there is no denying that developer Monolith Productions has done a good job in supporting Middle-earth: Shadow of War in the form of both paid and free DLC.

You also have a chance to obtain a Legendary gear set and additional challenges if you manage to hunt down the tribe's Legendary Orc. You can fight against enemies that represent other players, fight their armies, and completely dominate the world within Shadow of War.


The new feature allows players to train their best follower from the main game, pitting them in gladiatorial-style combat against the many Ologs and Uruks trained up by other players around the world for bounties including items and upgrades.


Competitive orc fighting has finally come to Middle-earth: Shadow of War. Players will be engrossed in a richer, more personal and expansive world full of epic heroes and villains, iconic locations, original enemy types, more personalities and a new cast of characters with untold stories. Playing a Nemesis Mission will now reset the cooldown for summoning bodyguard and beasts as well.
