Eve Named New Co-Host On CBS' 'The Talk'

Eve previously served as a guest co-host the week of October 30 and posted photos from the stint on Instagram, saying it was a fun week. She will be joining current hosts Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne and Sheryl Underwood.

The ladies of The Talk on Thursday, November 2, 2017 for the CBS Television Network.

In addition to The Talk, Tyler is also a series regular on CBS' Criminal Minds, hosts Whose Line Is It Anyway? and lends her voice to hit animated series, Archer.

Eve - full name Eve Jeffers Cooper - is taking over the seat vacated by Aisha Tyler, who left the show in July. The Grammy victor is best known for her hit "Let Me Blow Ya Mind", a duet with Gwen Stefani, her TV sitcom "Eve" and appearances in the "Barbershop" films. This opportunity came and it's something new, something exciting.

The performer made her official debut Tuesday, after previously appearing as guest co-host last month.

The multi-hyphenate also says she'll continue to make time for both acting and music, while balancing her new job on "The Talk". "I'm kind of quiet on social media, so this is a fun way for me to be expressive and show people who I am right now".

"The Talk's" panel has remained pretty stable during its eight-season run, though in its earlier days, the show had featured other co-hosts, including Marissa Jaret Winokur, Leah Remini, and Holly Robinson Peete.
