Annapurna Studios Incident: Manam Set Burnt To Ashes

A major fire broke out at famous Annapurna Studios at Banjara Hills in Hyderabad. It also stars Nayantara, Amitabh Bachchan, Sudeep, Vijay Sethupathi and Jagapati Babu and is reportedly being made at a budget of Rs 150 crore.

The sets of Manam, the 2014 film starring Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Nagarjuna, Naga Chaitanya and Samantha as well as actor Chiranjeevi's upcoming Sye Raa were totally gutted in the fire, according to Sakshi Post.

Nagarjuna and other's have reached the Annapurna studios.

According to the fire authorities, the incident occurred between 5.30 pm and 6 pm at a set for shooting of a film. The latest we hear is that the movie set has been burned down. This movie has impressed the Akkineni fans.

Manam movie is the last movie of Akkineni Nageswara Rao. After knowing the news about the mishap main celebrities has turned off at the Annapurna studios. Due to the heavy traffic, the fire tenders arrived late and the staff members had to barricade the studio to prevent people from entering.

Sources say that the fire was initiated due to the short circuit and the fire engines got the flames into control. The students flood from the incident place as soon as the fire was set.
