South Park: Phone DestroyerTM brings you iconic South Park characters, action packed real-time strategy, exploding PvP battles, trademark South Park humor and collectible cards in a ideal mix that's spicier than Cartman's chili con carne. With the release of the franchise's new mobile game, South Park: Phone Destroyer, we now have a new version of that disclaimer. In this game, you collect character cards, then use these cards to form a squad which you will use in PvP battles. Picking up from one of the games, you continue playing as the South Park "new kid" in a cowboy and indian setting. All of the microtransactions are optional and can be disabled in the game's menu, though expect to encounter some grinding later on in the story if you're adamant to play through the entirety of South Park: Phone Destroyer's campaign without spending anything.
"This game contains both in-app purchases and the option to watch ads for rewards", it reads. "In-app purchases cost real money and are charged to your account and for those reasons, this game should not be played by anyone".
In the framework of E3 2017, Ubisoft revealed South Park: Phone Destroyer, a new title based on the irreverent animated series. The game is designed so that nothing is ever locked behind a paywall. There's also multiplayer available, although the mode might feel like a roadblock to some at times - some game progression is limited until players opt-in to an online game. For this reason, Ubisoft shared on its YouTube channel the launch trailer for South Park: Phone Destroyer.
