But it isn't just any old teaser: it's in the style of the trailer for 1980's Friday the 13th.

It seems unlikely that the final trailer would have as direct an homage to the Friday the 13th movies, but you can't rule it out.

There are only a few weeks left until Stranger Things drops its second season, so in honour of the ever-nearing premiere date, Netflix made a decision to give fans a few clues about what's to come via Twitter on Tuesday: season two's episode titles.

If you were planning to hide from the world on Friday the 13th, at least you'll have something to watch.

Among other casts, Winona Ryder (Joyce Byers), David Harbour (Jim Hopper), Finn Wolfhard (Mike Wheeler), Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven), Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin Henderson), Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas Sinclair), Noah Schnapp (Will Byers), Natalia Dyer (Nancy Wheeler), Cara Buono (Karen Wheeler), Charlie Heaton (Jonathon Byers), and Matthew Modine (Dr Martin Brenner) will reprise their role in Season 2.

It's 1984, and the citizens of Hawkins, Indiana, are still reeling from the horrors of the Demogorgon and the secrets of Hawkins Lab.

However, the Duffer Brothers, writers of "Stranger Things", have warned fans that the titles may still change.

All episodes of Stranger Things season two will arrive on Netflix on October 27th, exactly two weeks from tomorrow's final trailer. It's also quite possible that Stranger Things 2 might break Netflix viewership records, as mysterious as they are, when it releases on October 27.

Now that we've seen the teaser, the wait is going to be even more arduous.

Answers we will hopefully all get a lot closer to when The Duffer Brothers and Netflix unleash season 2 upon us at the end of this month.
