One of those looks to be Ruin, a revenge thriller from the director of Assassin's Creed, Justin Kurzel, and the writing pair Matthew and Ryan Firpo.
The Israeli-born actress has risen to prominence since landing the role of Wonder Woman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, a part which she reprised in Patty Jenkins' Wonder Woman movie.
According to Deadline, Gadot is in negotiations to take on a part in the "gritty period" drama, which is set in post-WWII Germany and follows a nameless ex-Nazi captain. Gadot will be seen next as Wonder Woman in the studio's "Justice League", which opens November 17.
One that should be of particular interest is the very now relevant Ruin, a Justin Kurzel-directed post-WW2-era movie in which a former Nazi captain seeks penance for his war crimes by hunting down his former team members. Though Wonder Woman has become more prominent in the Justice League marketing lately, Gadot herself insists Justice League is not just a Wonder Woman movie with some other DC heroes thrown in (though given the success of Wonder Woman, that might not be the worst idea).
There is no word yet on the details of Gadot's role.
Kurzel is also said to be prepping a film about Australian outlaw Ned Kelly. So who is she? Gadot has also agreed to star in Deeper with Bradley Cooper (written by Max Landis and directed by Kornel Mundruczo).
