It's a little tricky, but the new Reliance Jio Rs 399 Diwali edition Dhan Dhana Dhan is totally worth it. This offer starts from 12th October till 18th October and cashback will be in form of vouchers.
Yesterday, India's No 1 telecom player Airtel has partnered with Karbonn Mobiles to sell 4G smartphone at an effective price of Rs 1,399, undercutting Jio's 4G featurephone priced at Rs 1,500, through an initiative called "Mera Pehla 4G Smartphone".
Jio has kept its offering pretty simple irrespective of tariff plans. And you can use these voucher against recharges after 15th November. Users can redeem these vouchers against the future recharge of Rs 309 or above and Rs 91 or above on data add-ons.
Jio said that the cashback vouchers can be gifted to near and dear ones as a Diwali gift, meaning these are transferable.
Reliance Jio, the telecom services arm of Reliance Industries, made a commercial launch of its services in September past year. Not only this, the user cannot redeem whole value in one go.
A Jio costumer will also get 100 local/national SMS per day and a complimentary subscription to Jio apps on the recharge.
However the speed of 4G services will be reduced to mere 64kbps. Its a data only operator and all its offerings are based on its 4G data network.
