Thousands of Facebook and Instagram users were unable to access their social media pages Wednesday morning.
The outage started around 8:20 a.m. ET, according to DownDetector.com, a site that monitors service disruptions. There are also some outages in Europe.
The outage of the network was tracked by the website Down Detector, where users continue to report issues with the platform.
Facebook and Instagram tend to be fairly stable, but they don't have a ideal record.
Users on both desktops and mobile devices are complaining about the issues, turning to Twitter to vent their frustrations because, well, why not?
